Sparvy for iPhone

What interest does to money.

Drag the monthly amount. Drag the years. Watch the final sum change under your finger — and see what a fee really costs. Then turn the page around and see what a loan does over time.

Sparvy’s Save page on an iPhone: $200 a month for 25 years becomes $184,814 after fees

Press play. Watch the years pass.

One page. Drag the amount, drag the years, tap the return, add a fee. The sum answers while you drag, and a play button walks through the years one tick at a time. Tap the growth to see how much of it is interest on interest.

Borrow: the same page, turned around.

Mortgage, car loan or personal loan. Set the rate and the term and see what it costs a month and what the interest adds up to over the years. Annuity or straight amortisation, an extra payment a month, a few interest-free months to start — and the day the loan is gone. Split a mortgage into parts with different rates.

In Sweden: your salary after tax.

A third page, only in Sweden: gross pay, your municipality, the state tax and the earned-income credit for 2026 — and the company car from your payslip. Checked against Skatteverket’s own calculator.

History with sources. No promises.

The return you type is yours. Sparvy never predicts the market and recommends nothing. The info page shows what history has looked like — the Stockholm exchange since 1974, what funds usually cost — with the sources, so you can set an assumption you believe in.

What it doesn’t do.

Questions.

Is the return a forecast?

No. It is a number you choose. The info page shows what history has looked like, with sources from Finansinspektionen, Fondbolagens förening and the Riksbank, so you can pick a reasonable one.

Why is Salary only in Sweden?

Because the tax rules are Swedish — municipal rate, state tax, the earned-income credit and company-car benefit for 2026, checked against Skatteverket’s calculator. Anywhere else the page would mislead, so it doesn’t show.

Does it work offline?

Always. Sparvy makes no network calls at all.

What’s behind the sparrow?

Something. Tap it on the info page.

One page. Then one more.
