The short version fits in one sentence.
The Last Watt collects nothing about you. No account, no email, no name, no location, no identifiers, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party code of any kind. There is no server to send anything to, because we did not build one.
Your personal best, your best height in today's house and whether you have played it, the fact that you have seen the opening prompts, and your settings. All of it is stored by the app on your own device, and synced through your own iCloud account if you have iCloud enabled. We cannot read any of it. Delete the app and it goes with it.
If you use Game Center, Apple handles the leaderboards and Apple handles your data for them — under Apple's privacy policy, not ours. If you decline, or you are not signed in, the game plays exactly the same. Nothing is locked behind it, and it will never ask twice.
If you allow it, your Game Center friends' names and best heights are shown as chalk marks on the wall inside the game. They come from Apple, they are drawn on your device, and they are never sent anywhere. We never see them. If iOS asks for your permission, the question appears on the results card, never in the middle of a run.
Two things reach us through Apple, and neither one identifies anybody:
The game is safe for children for a simple reason: there is nothing to collect, nothing to buy, nobody to talk to, and the only link out of the game is the one that opens this page.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data. We mention it because you are entitled to know it — but in our case there is nothing to hand over, correct or delete, because we hold nothing. If you want that confirmed in writing, write to us and you will get it.
If a future version of the game ever collects anything at all, this page is updated before that version ships, and the change is written in plain language at the top. We will not quietly widen it.
