Product data comes from Open Food Facts, an open database that anyone can improve. Check the label, then change the value on the product in Gramvy. You can also correct it at openfoodfacts.org so it is right for everyone.
The built-in foods use USDA FoodData Central and the Swedish Food Agency's food database. Settings → Food data and sources lists them. The target values (for example 1.6 g per kg) are common reference values with sources in the app — not medical advice.
When something is logged today and grams are left, Fill the gap suggests up to three of your favourites or recent foods, with the amount that closes the gap, rounded up to the nearest 5 g. One tap logs it, on your iPhone or your Apple Watch. Fill the gap is part of Gramvy Plus.
Turn it on in Settings → Reminder and pick a time. Gramvy only reminds you on days you have not reached your goal, with the grams left. It is a notification scheduled on your phone. If nothing arrives, check that notifications for Gramvy are allowed in the iOS Settings app.
Open Gramvy on your iPhone once; the watch gets your foods and today's total from the phone. The Apple Watch app is part of Gramvy Plus.
Turn on "Write protein to Apple Health" in Settings. Edited and deleted entries are updated in Health too. Erase everything does not touch Health — delete those entries in the Health app.
Free, for good: Just the grams, three saved foods, the ring, the last 7 days, widgets, Apple Health, Siri and the evening reminder. Gramvy Plus adds food search, barcode and label scanning, unlimited saved foods, the Apple Watch app, Fill the gap, full history and the weight trend. If Plus ends, nothing you logged is deleted: your first three saved foods keep working, and the rest wait for you.
The yearly plan starts with 7 days free, and if you allow notifications Gramvy reminds you two days before it ends. Cancel any time in Settings on your iPhone → your name → Subscriptions; cancel at least a day before the trial ends and you are not charged. Already paid? Use Restore purchases in Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Gramvy has no account. Your data moves with your iPhone's iCloud backup or a direct transfer to the new phone.
